Dear God
You create us from One soul
Breathe into us of Your Spirit
And make us your Deputies on earth

You urge us to seek You in every way
To call upon You, to remember You
And to meditate and reflect on Your signs.

You urge us to know You, to discern,
And to understand with pure awakened hearts
That the distance between us is only a Prayer

In return You promise us everlasting bliss, 
peace and eternal life  

What more can we ask for?
Yet we continue to forget your remembrance!

One message since the beginning of time
Different Emissaries and Holy Books  

One God, one Soul, one Nation, one Faith
Faith in you, O Beloved Creator

O God, advance our faith to the 
greatest perfection; 

Increase our good resolutions; 
do not let us be tempted by arrogance, 
let us be honored 
but do not let us fall prey to pride; 

O God. we thank You for our health, 
for the land in which we live in peace, 
for our children and our parents, 
for food, for our jobs that sustain us, 
for good friends - we thank You 
for being our resource and strength 
when we are sad and in pain.

O God - we thank You for guiding us 
and ask You to help us absorb and practice 
some important and beautiful lessons of life 
that You have taught us;

Help us learn that we cannot make anyone love us. 
What we can do is to let ourselves be loved; 
to learn that it takes years to build trust, 
and a few seconds to destroy it;

To learn that what is most valuable is 
not what we have in our lives, 
but who we have in our lives; 

To learn that it is not good to compare ourselves 
to others.  There will always be others 
better or worse than we are; 

To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least; 
to learn that we should control our attitudes, 
otherwise our attitudes will control us; 

To learn that it only takes a few seconds 
to open profound wounds in persons we love, 
and that it takes many years to heal them; 

To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness ; 
To learn that there are persons that love us dearly, 
but simply do not know how to show their feelings;

To learn that money can buy everything but happiness
To learn that while at times we may be entitled 
to be upset, that does not give us the right 
to upset those around us.

To learn that great dreams do not require great wings, 
but landing gear.
To learn that true friends are scarce, 
whoever has found one has found a true treasure.

To learn that it is not always enough t
hat we be forgiven by others, 
but that we forgive ourselves.

To learn that we are masters 
of what we keep to ourselves 
and slaves of what we say.

To learn that a sharp tongue can hurt deeper 
than a sword.
To learn that we shall reap what we plant; 
if we plant gossip we will harvest intrigues, 
if we plant love we will harvest happiness.

To learn that true happiness is not to achieve 
our goals but to learn to be satisfied with 
what we have already achieved.

To learn that happiness is a decision. 
To decide to be happy with what we are 
and what we have, 
or die from envy and jealousy of what we lack.

To learn that two people can look at the same thing 
and see something totally different.
To learn that those who are honest with themselves 
without considering the consequences go a long way.

To learn that those of us who think they have 
nothing to give, when a friend cries with us, 
we find the strength to appease the pain.

To learn that by trying to hold on to loved ones, 
we very quickly push them away; 
and by letting go of those we love, 
they will be by our side forever.
 
O God, help us understand that we can never do something extraordinary for You to love us; 
we know You simply do.

Help us remember that the shortest distance 
between us is called a prayer .
 
O God, please accept our humble prayer today 
and bestow Your blessing on each and every one of us. Give us that which is good in this world and the next, 
fill our hearts with love and compassion 
for our fellow human beings.
